Fire Pump Controllers

All Fire Pump Controllers are factory assembled, wired, tested as a unit and confirmed to all requirements of the latest edition of NFPA-20 (Centrifugal Fire Pumps) and NFPA-70 (National Electrical Code). Controllers are listed by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., in accordance with UL218, Standard for Fire Pump Controllers, CSA, and Standard for Industrial Control Equipment (CUL) and approved by Factory Mutual (FM). All controllers are Y2K compliant.

This component plays a vital role in fire pumps as it controls the entire system. It is selected as per customer choice if any, otherwise it can be either TORNATECH, FIRETROL, HUBBLE LEXINGTON OR JOSLYN CLARKE.

Electric Fire Pump Controllers in general are classified by starting method, as full voltage or reduced voltage starting. The distinguishing factor in these starting methods is the amount of current (amperage) that is drawn by the motor during it’s initial starting process (inrush).

Fire controllers are generally provided in single unit but we provide individual controller to all individual units. SFFECO Provides controllers for the following applications
